Yesterday, Wednesday 7th November, we had a visit from Geoff Scott from Keepmoat Homes. Geoff is the Social and Economic Impact Manager for Keepmoat and he gave an interesting and informative presentation on what it takes to gain an apprenticeship and employment within the building trade.

The event was interactive, with a very interesting Q&A session at the end. All learners who attended were very enthusiastic and positive regarding their futures and their chances of progressing within their chosen trade, after they leave school.

Geoff also spoke about the possibility of a Field Trip to a working building site in early 2019, which would allow learners to view all stages that need to be completed in the building of new houses.
