Bricklaying Skills

Our bricklaying courses provides students a range of skills, knowledge and understanding of bricklaying to help enable them to go further in this industry. We have a dedicated facility for training in brickwork at our centre equipped with a range of tools and material.

In addition, our well-appointed classrooms and computer facilities help provide a link between the practical and knowledge parts of the Course.

Students also have the option of completing an extra unit to build a cavity wall.

As Construction is one of the UK’s largest industries, learning bricklaying can help students to learn the basic skills to help them move on to a well-paid job in the future.

Bricklaying Courses

The Developing Bricklaying Skills Course involves 40 hours of learning and has a credit value of 4. Which awards students with the

NCFE Level 1 Award in Exploring Occupational Studies for the workplace.

Additional qualifications can be earned by taking part in other courses.

NCFE Level 1 Award in Occupational Studies – requires 6 credits

NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Occupational Studies – requires 13 credits

NCFE Level 1 Diploma in Occupational Studies – requires 37 credits
